Founded in 2014 in Brussels and growing rapidly, the Becquerel Institute, a consultancy specializing in solar photovoltaics, is consolidating its foothold in the French market with the opening of an office in Lyon and the recruitment of two experts in this market in strategic positions.

The French subsidiary is headed by Caroline Plaza, who has extensive experience in the photovoltaic sector and in managing innovative companies. Formerly Innovation Director of the DERBI competitiveness cluster and co-founder of SunChain, her expertise will benefit the development and growth of the Becquerel Institute in France and Southern Europe.

Mélodie de l'Epine will coordinate the Becquerel Institute's Research and Innovation activities. Recognized expert in the French photovoltaic market for 20 years, she has coordinated the photovoltaic cluster of the HESPUL association.

Gaëtan Masson, director and founder of the Becquerel Institute says "to keep up with the accelaration of the solar PV market, all players will have to review their industrial and commercial strategy. Our ambition is to help them make this transition an economic and social success. Our presence in France is part of this dynamic."

Caroline Plaza and Mélodie de l'Epine have joined the existing team of experts. Their experience will be used in the context of strategic consultancy missions in France and within the European research projects in which the Becquerel Institute is involved. They will be involved in strengthening the expertise at the global level, particularly in supporting international organizations, such as the International Energy Agency's PV program and cooperation agencies in various countries.
